Travelers

Hey, I havent't posted for a while. I went to a Traveler's game last night. It was a double header, and we went to the first game at 5:30. We had to sit in the grass. (The regular seats were sold out, even though only half of them were filled.) Ellie caught a home run that would have hit me in the head if I hadn't moved. That was in the 2nd inning(the only inning she wasn't in th inflatables). We stayed until the 5th and got a slushie from Sonic on the way home.

NBA Finals

As most of you know, I am a big sports fan. Right now I'm waiting for game 1 of the NBA Finals. This will be a good game. Dwight Howard vs. Kobe Bryant. I want the Magic to win, because I like Dwight Howard alot.

I have started a new blog, it is about Arkansas sports.

Moving........... again

Everyone who reads this blog probably already knows this, but we are moving to Little Rock. My dad took the same job he took a year ago at UAMS. We went this weekend to look at houses. My parents have pretty much decided on 3 houses. My dad will move in 3 weeks and we will move between Thanksgiving and Christmas. See you in Little Rock!

Going to a Movie

Yesterday we went to see a movie, Chihuahua. I don't recommend it. Here are some reasons why:

• It was boring, because there was too much talking, and dogs were talking.
• There were not enough musical numbers.(only one)
• The reviewers pushed it too far and made everyone think that it was going to be good.

Those are some reasons that I didn't like the movie. I do want to say that my brother and sister both liked the movie, but the rest of us didn't.

Gustav is Coming

I was at my grandparents house last week doing "Camp Tolbert." (a camp that they made up when I was 2.) While I was there my grandparents heard about a possibility that Hurricane Gustav would come to New Orleans, since my grandparents live in New Orleans they were naturally scared. For the next couple of days all that was on T.V. was weather. By about 3 hours of it I was bored. Wednesday, we went to the IMAX theater and saw Dolphins and Whales 3-D. We walked down the river and it looked calm. Nobody would suspect that it might flood New Orleans in few days. Thursday a evacuation was ordered for the seminary the my grandfathers campus. We packed all the important things and left Friday afternoon. We went to my aunt and uncle's house and stayed there for the weekend. Now I'm back home in Memphis, not watching weather.

"Outrigger Island"

This week I have been going to VBS at Bartlett Baptist Church. It is a typical Lifeway VBS. You do Missons, Crafts, Music, Rec., Bible and Worship. It has been fun so far. (I hope it stays that way.)

My Birthday

My birthday was on Thursday, but we stretched it out into three days. OnThursday morning my mom made orange rolls and I opened all my presents. Thursday afternoon I got a catchers helmet from my grandfather, then on Thursday night we went to Corky's. On Friday my mom made a home-cooked dinner of ham, black-eyed peas, cream corn and mashed potato's. Then on Saturday my mom made a tripe-layered Paula Dean strawberry cake and we all went over to Jonathon's house and everybody came.

Redbirds Won!

We went to the Redbird game and they came back in the eighth inning and scored four runs to win. We watched it in a suite with a bunch of other people that my dad works with. It was fun!

Redbirds

Tomorrow my family will go to the Redbirds game. The Commercial Appeal rents a box at Autozone Park and we get to stay in there. It will be fun!

Finally!

My dad finally got a camera! Now we can start shooting iMemphisKids. He got this camera called a flip. It takes over 8% of the camcorder market.

Ouch!

Yesterday I was moving a bench and droped it on my toe. It hurt! Today, when I woke up it hurt even worse. Right now, I have it taped up and it doesn't hurt as bad now that I have walked around Wolfchase.

Snow!

Yesterday at noon, it started to snow, and snowed 'till midnight. There was between 6-8 inches on the ground (it varies) when I woke up this morning. It's all pretty much gone now at 1:45.

Webshow

My sister and I will have a web show. It is called "IMemphiskids". I will post the shows on this blog, too. I hope you will like it once we do it.

How This Blog Got it's Name

Today was my mom's birthday, so we ate supper at Macaroni Grill. My favorite vegetable is Spinach, and the best thing on Macaroni Grill's menu is Spinach-Artichoke dip. (Don't tell my sister, she doesn't agree. Whenever you say Spinach she makes gagging noises.) It is cheesy with a dab of shellfish taste. We were eat the dip when Ellie started screaming "GROSS! GROSS! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!" Man, she didn't know what she was missing. So I said "When you took the educate class Dr. Kelly said to try somthing that you don't like, and if you still don't like don't make a big deal over it." Thats when she really took off, "I know I won't like it's just plain old gross. Ha!" So when you want to hear a really funny story read my blog or a Judy Blume book.

Memphis v. Tennessee

My favorite bsketball team, and my hometown basketball team, the #1 Memphis Tigers will play their rival the #2 Tennessee Vols. It is halftime right now and Memphis is holding a tight 1-point lead 34-35. I wrote "GO TIGERS!" and "MEMPHIS ROCKS" on my hand for this game. I can't wait to see Chris Lofton's team get whipped.

Wind 'em up, and put 'em down

Tonight me and my sister were as an adult would say "winding my brother up". My dad works for the Commercial Appeal and had a lot of work to do, because Memphis plays Tennessee tomorrow, and we, unfortunately, got in trouble, not big trouble, but trouble. Even though my brother likes to play "tackle football", enough is enough.

A New House

We are renting a new house. Today we went to sign our leasing forms, then we went to see the house. None of the keys worked. They apparently gave us the wrong keys!

Harry Potter Movies

We have been watching the Harry Potter movies. My sister got so scared. My two-year-old brother wasn't scared at all, but I'm not to sure he understood it.
